In this video I show how I lay down my watercolour pencils to create an initial underpainting in my dog portraits. This is just an informal video so there is not voice over all the way through.
At the end I show how I add water to the piece.
This was a commission piece but I was given permission to video the stages. There are separate videos showing the background & the pencils layers.
